On March 27th 2023, Queen Square Focused Ultrasound hosted a patient webinar – ‘A Focus on Essential Tremor’ – which was the capstone in our programme of events for the 2023 National Essential Tremor Awareness Month.

The webinar involved three speciaists from Queen Square who presented updates on the medical and surgical treatment of Essential Tremor.

Our three presenters were:

• Dr Tabish Saifee – A consultant neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery with an expertise in movement disorders and a particular specialist in interest in tremor dystonia and Parkinson’s Disease.

• Shauna Pavel – A specialist occupational therapist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square.

• Professor Ludvic Zrinzo – A consultant neurosurgeons at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and the Head of the UCL Functional Neurosurgery unit.
