
Dr Rebecca Schofield
Consultant Cardiologist
Dr Schofield is a multi-modality Cardiac Imager and general Consultant Cardiologist.
Her clinical focus is medically managed coronary disease, valvular heart disease, heart muscle disease, cardio-oncology and cardio-obstetrics. She is interested in pathway redesign, collaborative working with Primary Care and training/education.
Dr Schofield was appointed as a Cardiology Consultant to Royal Free Hospital, London in 2024. Prior to this, she was a Consultant in North West Anglia Foundation Trust from 2017.
She trained in Manchester, Ireland and London, also completing her United States Medical Licensing Exam. She is a current executive committee member of the BCS Imaging Council, and has previously been an elected BSCI Committee Member, BSE Educational Committee. She is the current president of the British Nuclear Cardiac Society. She was previously an honorary Lecturer University of Leicester Medical Students. Her leadership experience includes Deputy Divisional Director for medicine at NWAFT from 2022-2024 and secondary care lead for East of England Cardiac Network between 2021-2024.
