Dr Chandrashekar Hoskote
Consultant Neuroradiologist
Dr Hoskote has more than 25 years of experience in Neuroradiology. In particular, Dr Hoskote is experienced in the analysis and reporting of CT and MRI scans performed for a wide range of conditions and disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system including brain cancer, dementia, stroke, multiple sclerosis, infections, spondylosis and sciatica, trauma, headache, tinnitus, hearing and balance problems, visual dysfunction and neuropathies. He has sub specialty interest and expertise in advanced MR techniques including angiography, flow studies, neurography and spectroscopy.
Following primary medical and specialist training in radiology and neuroradiology from premier institutions in India, he pursued further sub specialty fellowship training at University Hospitals in Zurich and London.
Dr Hoskote joined the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in 2008 and has a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists and specialist registration in Neuroradiology. He currently leads scheduled multi-disciplinary team meetings in Neurology, Neuro-Otology, Neuro-Haematology and the Queen Square/NHNN COVID-19 Neurology and Encephalitis MDT.
By collaborative work, Dr Hoskote regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals and teaches at regional, national and International courses, workshops and conferences.
Dr Hoskote is registered on the Clinical Radiology Specialist Register of the General Medical Council under reference number 7008427.
